Food is just better when you’re comfortable and having fun.

Eugene local Chef/Owner, Max Schwartz, has a formal culinary education from Le Cordon Bleu and over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Chef Schwartz has spent the majority of his career working in fine dining, but wanted something a little more comfortable to call his own. The Houndstooth is his answer to combining casual, comfortable, fun, and above all else great food!

At The Houndstooth we have booth seating for families and friends, pool tables, dart boards, shuffleboard, a small live events stage, and a tucked away lottery room. We believe that having fun and being comfortable is critical to enjoying a fantastic meal!
